| As a member of Thai society, Mr. Phornthep Phornprapha is strongly committed to return benefits to society. One of the activities is the "Think Earth" or Nature Conservation and Environmental Protection Project, which was launched on November 26, 1990.
The Think Earth Project was established with three objectives: to increase awareness among Thai people, especially youth, of the importance of nature and to understand the role of individuals who work in nature and environment conservation; to promote natural resources, marine and wildlife conservation concepts, and support those who work in nature and environmental conservation; to support, revive and promote Thai wisdom, art and culture as well as Thai lifestyle. Think Earth has cooperated with concerned government agencies and private-sector organizations to disseminate these concepts to target groups around the country.
Think Earth has employed various media to achieve its goals, and continuously initiate different projects and activities to create awareness among target groups to conserve environment, art and culture, and traditional Thai lifestyles. Key activities are inclusive of Mae Jo Botanical Garden Project, Reforestation Project to Honor His Majesty the King; Green World Creation for Thai Children Project; Think Earth: Children Care for the World Project; Think Earth: Save Our Seas Project; Life, Culture and Nature Project; Wildlife Educational Program Project. Think Earth has also constantly honored individuals who have performed outstanding conservation work in nature, art and culture, and Thai Folklore, as good examples for Thai Society.
